By downloading or using FairStock ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app. These terms are between you and Moath Othman ("we," "us"), the app's developer.
FairStock is licensed, not sold, to you. Your licence to use the app is a non-transferable licence to use FairStock on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, as governed by the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions (including the "Licensed Application End User License Agreement"), and these Terms supplement it. Where these Terms and Apple's terms conflict on the licence itself, Apple's terms control; on everything specific to FairStock, these Terms control. You acknowledge that Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support for the app.
FairStock is a tool for recording and counting your own stock — items, quantities, minimum levels, prices, locations, photos, labels, and the history of changes you make. It is not an accounting, bookkeeping, tax, valuation, insurance, legal, or compliance service, and it does not provide financial, tax, insurance, or legal advice. Stock values, reorder suggestions, and reports are computed from the quantities and prices you enter; verify them against your own records or ask a qualified professional before relying on them for an insurance claim, a tax filing, a sale, or any other decision. Barcode and label recognition depends on your camera, lighting, and print quality and may occasionally misread or miss a code — always check the item card before adjusting stock. Your inventory lives on your device; we strongly recommend keeping your own backup of anything important, because uninstalling the app removes that data.
Label sheets and barcodes generated by the app are yours to print and use. Whether a given label paper, printer, or scanner works with them is between you and those products. Check-out records, borrower names, notes, and custom fields are your own notes, kept on your device for your convenience; FairStock is not a party to any loan, sale, or arrangement they describe and does not process, transmit, hold, or guarantee any payment.
FairStock requires no account, no sign-in, and no personal information to work. Everything you enter stays on your device, as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the security of the device the app is installed on; anyone with access to that device can open the app and view or edit your inventory unless you turn on the optional App Lock.
FairStock is free to install, and its core features — including unlimited items, photos, folders, label printing, scanning, import, and export — are usable without paying. An optional upgrade, FairStock Pro, is offered as a one-time purchase that unlocks additional features for as long as the app is available; it is not a subscription and does not renew. Prices are shown in the App Store at the moment of purchase and may differ by country and currency. All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit; payment and billing are governed by your Apple ID and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. We never see your payment method or billing details. Refunds are handled by Apple — visit reportaproblem.apple.com; we have no mechanism to issue refunds directly. You can restore a previous purchase on a new device with Settings → Restore Purchases.
Do not misuse the app: do not attempt to breach its security, reverse-engineer it except as permitted by law, or use it for unlawful purposes — including creating fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading stock records or reports. FairStock acts only on the data you enter into it, and only on your own device; what you create with it is your responsibility.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, that every scan will be recognised, or that any count, value, or report will be accurate, and we are not responsible for any business, financial, insurance, tax, or legal outcome resulting from records you keep with it. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data resulting from your use of the app. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, or your mandatory statutory consumer rights. Because you should always keep your own backup of important data, we are not liable for data you lose without a backup.
We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected in the date above and in the App Store release notes. Continued use of FairStock after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may discontinue features or the app with reasonable notice.
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at the developer's place of residence, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country. Questions about these Terms? Email kenz@kenzapps.com. We aim to reply within two business days.
