Your alarms and settings are saved locally using Apple's on-device storage. They are included in your normal encrypted device backup if you use iCloud Backup, which is controlled by Apple, not by us. We never receive a copy.
SureWake uses iOS local notifications to fire your alarms — no notification data is sent to any server. All scheduling happens on your device. You can manage or revoke notification permission any time in iOS Settings › SureWake › Notifications.
If you use the shake or step-count dismiss mission, SureWake requests access to your device's motion sensors (CMMotionManager / CMPedometer) only while the dismiss screen is open. No motion or step data is recorded, stored, or transmitted — it is used solely to detect when you have completed the mission.
Optional Pro purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit. We never see your payment details. Apple's privacy policy governs that transaction.
No account or sign-in. No third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. No tracking across apps or websites. No selling of data — we have no data to sell.
SureWake is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal data from anyone.
If this policy ever changes we will update the date above. Significant changes will be noted in the app's release notes. Continued use after any change means you accept the updated terms.
