By downloading or using FairInvoice ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app. These terms are between you and Moath Othman ("we," "us"), the app's developer.
FairInvoice is licensed, not sold, to you. Your licence to use the app is a non-transferable licence to use FairInvoice on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, as governed by the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions (including the "Licensed Application End User License Agreement"), and these Terms supplement it. Where these Terms and Apple's terms conflict on the licence itself, Apple's terms control; on everything specific to FairInvoice, these Terms control. You acknowledge that Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support for the app.
FairInvoice is a tool for creating and organising your own business documents — invoices, estimates, and receipts. It is not an accounting, bookkeeping, tax, legal, or payment service, and it does not provide financial, tax, or legal advice. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legal sufficiency of the documents you create — including numbers, tax rates and labels, and any regulatory requirements that apply to invoices in your country. Tax rates and document totals are computed from the values you enter; verify them against your own obligations or ask a qualified professional. Your documents live on your device; we strongly recommend keeping your own backup of anything important, because uninstalling the app removes that data.
FairInvoice does not process, transmit, hold, or guarantee payments. Any payment instructions you add (bank details, payment handles, and similar) are plain text rendered on your own PDF; the transaction they describe is entirely between you and your client. We are not a party to it and have no responsibility for whether or when your clients pay you.
FairInvoice requires no account, no sign-in, and no personal information to work. Everything you enter stays on your device, as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the security of the device the app is installed on; anyone with access to that device can open the app and view or edit your documents.
FairInvoice is free to install, and its core features — including unlimited invoices and receipts — are usable without paying. An optional upgrade, FairInvoice Pro, may be offered as an auto-renewing subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase that unlocks additional features. Prices are shown in the App Store at the moment of purchase and may differ by country and currency. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled in your App Store settings, at least 24 hours before the current period ends. All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit; payment and billing are governed by your Apple ID and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. We never see your payment method or billing details. Refunds are handled by Apple — visit reportaproblem.apple.com; we have no mechanism to issue refunds directly.
Do not misuse the app: do not attempt to breach its security, reverse-engineer it except as permitted by law, or use it for unlawful purposes — including creating fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading documents. FairInvoice acts only on the data you enter into it, and only on your own device; what you create with it is your responsibility.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not responsible for any business, financial, tax, or legal outcome resulting from documents you create with it. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data resulting from your use of the app. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, or your mandatory statutory consumer rights. Because you should always keep your own backup of important data, we are not liable for data you lose without a backup.
We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected in the date above and in the App Store release notes. Continued use of FairInvoice after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may discontinue features or the app with reasonable notice.
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at the developer's place of residence, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country. Questions about these Terms? Email dark2torch@gmail.com. We aim to reply within two business days.
