Is my data really private?
Yes. Luna Local has no backend server. Your data lives in Apple's on-device CoreData database. If you enable iCloud sync, it travels through your own private iCloud account (Apple's CloudKit with end-to-end encryption). We never receive a copy. See our Privacy Policy for full technical detail.
Does it work offline?
Yes, completely. Luna Local is fully functional with no network connection. All computation runs on-device.
Can it be used for contraception?
No. Luna Local provides general cycle awareness estimates only. It is not a contraceptive tool and should not be used as one. Consult a healthcare provider for contraception guidance.
Can I switch to the discreet icon without losing my data?
Yes. Discreet mode only changes the home screen icon and notification text. All your logs and settings are untouched.
