Common questions

I paid, and it is still locked.

Open Settings → Restore Purchases. Purchases are tied to the Apple Account that made them, so make sure you are signed in with the same one.

I lost my progress.

Progress lives only on your device — there is no account and no cloud backup, which is the trade for collecting nothing about you. Deleting the app removes it permanently. Your purchase is safe either way: Apple keeps that, and Restore Purchases brings it back.

I am stuck on an encounter.

Tap the bulb in the top right. It is not a canned tip — it runs the same solver the game uses to check its own encounters are fair, and tells you what it would do next.

Why is today's Daily the same as my friend's?

That is the point. The Daily Descent is one machine per day for everybody on earth, with a fixed loadout that ignores everything you have unlocked or bought, so the result means the same thing for all of us.

Does the game have ads?

No. No ads, no subscription, no energy, no timers, no second currency.
